DVR/DVS Remote Access Setup Manual

If you are a router + device simple network access mode, you can refer to the following settings:
You are on the device (hard disk recorder, video server…) The required settings are: IP address, subnet mask, and gateway.
When you connect the router, the other settings are on the router:
PPPOE Dial-up Information/Fixed IP Address
Port mapping (port is identical to DVR)
Domain Name Resolution (if fixed IP, this setting is not required)
The methods for testing the network are as follows:
Computer Start Menu – Select Run – Enter cmd, then enter Dos interface
1. You can use “ping domain name” to resolve an IP address at this time. You can see if this IP is consistent with WAN port IP on routers, which means that domain name resolution is successful; inconsistency means that domain name resolution is unsuccessful, and it is recommended to contact the domain name provider.
1. Use “telnet Domain Name Port Number” to test whether the port is open (if there is a black interface, only one cursor is flashing, indicating success), otherwise it will not succeed.
If the port is not available, it is recommended to replace one port, re-map the port, or contact the router manufacturer to consult the port mapping information. (Port 80 in some areas is blocked by network operators, please replace the port)
